Our dear Mother, Grandmother, Partner, and Friend - Sandra Walker, passed away on the 19th of
February 2007 after a very short illness. Sandra was 46 when she passed away.
Sandra, the long term partner of Gordon, Mum to Lianne, Martin, Claire, and the late Julie Walker,
Grandmother of Ryan, and friend to all who knew and loved her.
We could speak for days of all the good times that we've shared with Sandra. There are so many
memories we've all got, and are grateful for these memories. Words can't describe the pain we feel
at her loss, and we have created this page as a tribute to Sandra, so that there is a place we can
all visit, to share our love, stories, and great memories of this wonderful woman.

Just leaving a wee message for you, the day before what would be your 48th birthday. Am leaving my thoughts with you just now so that your family can leave their thoughts on your birthday.
I still miss you like crazy Sandra, and although life has moved on, it's still really strange to talk about you without expecting you to walk in the door with your fags and your vodka and diet coke.
Everybody misses you, that will never change, and you'll always have a special place in my heart.

Can you believe it thats wee Ryan 2 tomorrow! I can't believe i have a son thats 2 years old lol. We are having a wee birthday tea for him tomorrow and also taking him to the caravan this weekend. He is so excited about going on holiday!

Manchester - Uefa Cup Final
Oh my god mum!!!! The mighty Gers are in the uefa cup final :-)))). You were only 12 last time they made a European final....you would be so proud of Barry and the boys!!
As you would already have guessed im heading down to manchester :-)))) to cheer the boys on....it will be amazing, i cannot wait.

As Time Goes By

Just wanted to let you know that me and Lianne are planning to do the 10k Fun Run this year. Remember the day in September 2005 when we all ran it and you came and met us. That was a great day.
Well. this year, me, your two daughters, and Julie and Scott are going to run the 10k, and we're going to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. Lianne suggested that particular charity, and I agree, so that we can support a trust with one small step towards finding a cure for the awful disease that took you from us.
I know you will be extremely proud of us all - we're doing it for you Sandra, because we all love and miss you very much.
I was over at Lianne's a few weeks ago, and Lesley and wee Julie were there too, and we had a great night, talking about how special you were to us all.
Claire is so looking forward to New York, and wants to go and see Phantom on Broadway, just for you. I'm sure she'll hate it, but you know how determined she is.
Love you and miss you so much Sandra, but I'm glad we've got your special page where we can all come and leave our thoughts, and light a candle.
